Making Wee Baby Blocks blanket and totally confused on Block 6 with YB and YF without creating additional stitch. Pattern reads as :“YB K2,YF SL2” K2YB. Wouls appreciate any step by step help.
Check and see if your pattern has any special definition of YB and YF. Usually it’s yarn back and yarn forward. You would take the yarn to the back, k2, bring the yarn forward, slip 2sts then k2 with the yarn in back.
Can you quote the entire row, just to be sure?
Many thanks for your help—now it makes sense.
Is block 7 the one that’s barely in this project photo, bottom left? If so then doing as salmonmac said would produce the stitches with a bar in front of them as shown in the photo.
