Yarn substitution help

Hello!

I have fallen in love. The robe from No Sheep for You!!! :heart: :heart: :heart:

The bad part… it calls for 18 skeins of Classic Elite Temptation http://www.yarndex.com/yarn.cfm?yarn_id=2968 They show the MSRP of this at $40 per skein. My calculations show this coming to $720. That is WAY out of my budget for a robe. :passedout:

Can anyone recommend something for someone on a budget that might work well. I realize that this is a 100% silk yarn, and I don’t need that. I love the design of it more than anything.

Are you sure it’s not Cascade Fixation? Much cheaper.

I’ll check the pattern again when I get home. Thanks for the suggestion. That is much more affordable!!
