Yarn sub for this pattern?

I’m going to be making this scarf: http://magknits.com/Sept06/patterns/innertruth.htm as a gift for my mom.

I don’t want to use the recommended yarn (2 skeins HipKnits Aran Cashmere (100% cashmere; 174 yd [160m] per 100g skein) because it’s from the UK. I’d rather use something easy to find in the states, or at least easy to get online. Any suggestions? It doesn’t have to be 100% cashmere, but since it’s for a gift, I want to use something nice.

gauge won’t matter so just use what ever yarn you like the feel of somthing real soft:thumbsup:
