Yarn question

I am using a yarn I have not used before…Manos del Uruguay Maxima. Since this yarn is hand dyed and has no dye lot the instructions say to do two rows from one skein and two rows form another skein to give an overall blended effect. I am knitting a sweater and I have several skeins. My question is do I need to use all the skeins alternating all the yarn every two rows. example: number all the skeins…1,2,3,etc…then use two rows from skein #1, then two rows form skein #2, two rows using skein #3, etc. I hope this makes sense.

Just alternate from 2 skeins, you don’t have to use all of them. You might not even need to alternate at all, depends on the color runs,

You can take a look at the color pattern and see how it’s developing. If you’re getting areas with ugly spotty areas, you can always rip it out and do it over.
