Has anyone used and like Red Heart Soft? It felt so soft to me in the store but after knitting a few rows with it it feels stiff to me? Does it get better with more rows and wash up soft? It just surprised me how it feels with some of it knitted compared to what it felt like in the store.:??

You may be using too small a needle or have a tight gauge. I’ve seen/felt yarns that when knit on the ‘correct’ needle size were very stiff and rough, even though they were soft in the skein, and when I used a larger needle needle on them.
Thanks. Not sure if maybe it is because the border is the seed stitch maybe makes it feel a bit stiffer. I used a larger needle than called for because I know I knit tight. I think I am going to change the border stitch and see if it helps. Thanks!
