Yarn over

I have some yarn over’s in my pattern, and the row after is just knit across. Do I knit the yarn over’s as if they are normal stitches? And this would increase my stitch number right?
Thanks, Kristyn

Yes you knit the yarn over and it can increase your number of stitches unless it is paired with a knit2together then it doesn’t. When you knit the row after the yarn over it leaves a hole, like for a lacey affect or a button hole.
Hope this helps you!!:knitting:

Yes, unless it says otherwise.
