Yarn over question

What does “yo with double wrap” mean. I know how to do a yarn over. does this mean I wrap the yarn around the needle twice? I don’t know what a wrap is, in this context.

Yes, it means to do a regular yo with an extra wrap around the needle. So if it’s between knits, bring the yarn to the front, then up and around the needle again to the front and knit the next stitch. You’ll have two extra stitches.

It’s likely that you’ll drop one of the wraps on the next row, or possibly have to knit/purl into the two wraps.
