Yarn joins

This arrived in my mailbox this morning from YarnSub. It seems like a useful compendium of different methods of joining yarn and when to use each one.

I’ve never had a simple overhand knot come undone and since I control where it goes it’s only about a 10% chance it will come to the front. I’ll also knit with the ends some times which helps hold the knot in the back. Weaving the ends in can also hold it in back.

Nice list! A couple there I’ve never heard of before but definitely want to try. I tend to spit splice wools and just drop and start for everything else. Because I’m lazy.
