Rowan Big Wool is a super bulky yarn. I imagine that the gauge is 7 1/2 to 8 stitches per 4 inches.
Here is an assortment of super bulky yarns according to www.yarndex.com .
Thank you i found that a lion brand super bulky
no.6 will give me what i need . it is hard living in the middle of no where and not having yarn stores around .thanks again .
Well, it sounds like you’re all set, but I thought I would mention the possibility of doubling a lighter-weight yarn. A neat discussion on how to determine gauge and new yardage requirements when using a yarn double-stranded can be found here.
:happydance: thank you i was wondering about that as sometimes i ww yarn in a color that i can not find in other kinds you all on here are livesaver.
