I’m certain that this question has been asked before, but I can’t find it anywhere, so I’m asking again.
My pattern says "Next Row (Picot): K1, yfwd, K2tog…
Is a yfwd the same as a yo? If not, can someone please explain how to do a yfwd?

Yarn Forward
A YO and a Yarn Forward usually result in the same thing, though sometimes you just bring the yarn forward for some other reason.
In this case, your yarn forward is the same as a YO.
In this pattern it’s a YO. Sometimes it’s not though, so it’s good to ask.
