Here on my blog you’ll find pics of my latest knitting FOs and a WIP.

I have to say, I feel really accomplished, having seen this sweater through to the end. There were many times I wanted to give up, but the KAL peer pressure gave me the boost I needed! And extra hugs to Ingrid, without whose wisdom I never would have been able to interpret some of the trickier aspects of the pattern, which as it turned out did have some mistakes in it after all.

My WIP will hold me until I can decide what pattern to knit next. It’s nice to be knitting in a dark color, after all those weeks of squash yellow! Also, this WIP is a new challenge for me - cables. Thanks to all of you for encouraging me to keep pushing the envelope.

Everything looks great. I love that hat - I’ll have to make it for my 3 yo nephew! Nice job!

I realized my mistake on the hat after it was knit - the second drumstick was spaced visually based on the first drumstick’s position, when I should have spaced it according to the earflap.

And like an idiot, I forgot to lengthen the sweater as I’d intended, so flustered was I by the mistake in the pattern directions - so as a result I have leftover yarn enough from this project to maybe whip up a shrug.

Maybe I should get some of this same yarn in Cucumber, and knit a tank to go with the shrug. :twisted:
