WTH (heck)

So i’m trying to kint two awsome patterns but they I keep getting extra St on my needles…I don’t get how they are getting there! I need help I’ll post both patterns and maybe you can explain what I am doing wrong…Furry Red Monster Dishcloth

Hi Tara. There is a sticky at the top of this forum giving hints on how extra stitches appear. We try to avoid posting whole patterns here for space and copyright reasons.

with all those switches between knits and purls it could be that you are accidently looping the yarn over your needle when you are moving between the two which can creat exra stitchs on the needle.

Hi Tara, I just completed that same Illusion dishcloth and ran into the same problem of having extra stitches at the same spot in the pattern. I took this work apart many times and the last time, I just took my time after each stitch, checking to make sure I wasn’t wrapping the yarn and it turned out perfect.

Very nice pattern and the best thing with it, you can change the colors for other awareness illusion cloths.
