WS/RS help needed please

Hi everyone,

Could someone please remind me if a pattern says r/s facing is that the outside of the finished garment facing me? when starting next row?

I have now knitted a baby matinee coat, and now have to pick up all the stitches left on needles to knit the yoke.

So if someone could just remind me about the ws/rs facing l would very much appreciate it.

RS stands for right side and yes, that would be the outside of the garment. The right side should be facing your when you pick up stitches; that will make the “seam” on the inside of your work where it won’t be seen.
