I have a baby poncho pattern that tells me to stitch on the wrong side after casting on. What’s the wrong side?
The wrong side is the inside of the poncho–the right side is the outside–where the world sees it.
The pattern is just telling you which is the wrong side to keep you oriented.
So I don’t have to actually turn anything around? Oh! <sheepishly smiles>
Patterns will usually designate one side as the RS, and/or one as the WS so that later if it says to do something after finishing a RS row, you’ll know where you are.
