Wrong side?

New to knitting. I want to do a chain cable headband for my daughter’s Irish Dancing. The instructions say row one (wrong side). I’m lost already. Any help? The videos are SO helpful, but I haven’t found wrong side referred to in any of them.

Thanks, Amy L

if they tell you that, it is just for orientation really…and a check to make sure you are on the correct side…so…row 1 is wrong side, so all odd rows will be on the wrong side(or back side, or inside, the side you don’t see) of the item you are making…right side, IS the part of the garment you CAN see, so all those rows will be even rows…

does that help?

 Yes, thanks. I did figure that out by just digging in and trying. But thanks for verifying that.
