Wrapping a slip stitch

I have a Debbie Bliss cardigan pattern that has a sloped front. It calls for a slip stitch at the beginning of each row. A note states to wrap the slip stitch before turning the yarn, then knit the wrapped stitch in at the beginning of the next row. What does this mean? I’m sooooo confused… K :?? :??

I think, and I’m not positive on this, that you bring your yarn forward before the slipped stitch, then slip it. When you work the next row, the yarn will wrap around it.

Someone asked this question before, and we couldn’t seem to come up with a solution. It finally clicked for me.
