Hi…I am knitting a shawl with all garter stitches.The pattern consists of leaves that are pointed on the top. The leaves are made up of short wrap and turns.When I get to the top of the leaf, the pattern says to knit the top leaf stitch wrap together with the first stitch if the main color(leaves are all contrasting colors) I have tried and tried understanding this, but each time i do what I think is correct, my leaf is not pointed at the top…please help me

Because it is a paid pattern I am not able to look at the instructions but from what you describe it sounds like you would have a leaf colored wrap around a main colored stitch and that you should knit the wrap together with the main colored stitch using the main color.
