WOUNDED VETERAN PROSTHETIC LEG COVERS (leg warmers)

:knitting:
Does anyone have the pattern for making leg covers for the prosthetic legs that our wounded veteran’s have suffered? There was a message in my e-mail, from I believe this group, giving the instructions and my DH deleted the inbox. Could not get that message back. I think it would be a very good thing to do - I remember the message suggested that the colors preferred would be brown, black, navy - something not flashy or striped, etc. I believe any ordinary leg warmer pattern would not work as these need to be sized differently.
Hoping someone can help. Thanks, Golfer

Thispattern may be similar to the one you’re looking for.

The Canadian needle sizes thing made red flags go up for me. These aren’t the same as US sizes. A Canadian 9 is a US 5 (3.75mm), a Canadian 10 is a US 3 (3.25mm). Just so you know.

Here’s another pattern for you. This does use US needle sizes.
