Would this work for felted stockings?

I want to make felted Xmas stockings that after felted are the size of a sock. They are to be stuffed with a giftcard and some other small item for my daughter’s teachers for xmas.
I see many stocking patterns, but I want one that knits in the round.

Couldn’t I just use Silvers sock tutorial, and just make a longer “cuff” and use larger dpn’s?

I’m still too new to be able to figure out all this basic stuff . :aww:

I think that might work. You may have to experiment a bit to see how much it felts at that size.

What size dpn’s would you use? I think I have all sizes.:teehee:

Depends on what yarn you use. I’d go up at least 2 needles sizes from what the yarn suggests. ie, if the yarn says to use needle size 5-7, I’d use 9. You want the knitted fabric to be very loose.
