What is the difference between worsted and sock yarn, please? Which is thicker? Thank you.
Worsted is thicker, it’s `normal’ weight yarn. Sock yarn is much thinner and is usually knit with size 3 needles or smaller. You can also make socks with worsted weight, using size 6 or 7 needles, but need to find patterns that use that weight.
Socknitters.com has tons of patterns for all weights of yarn. Try looking there.
