I am trying to follow a pattern from England for knitting socks.
After giving the instructions for the first 7 rounds of different stitches, the pattern states to “work one row” but does not explain work one row of what? Does anyone know what “work one row” might mean?
Is it possible that it means to work 1 round? Without having the pattern it’s a bit hard to say.
Can you link to the pattern? If it’s a free pattern available on the internet you can link to it. Otherwise if you could type up just a bit before and after where you are having problems, it may be easier to help you that way.
It usually means “work in pattern”, ie: the specific pattern you’ve been working in, but it often depends. What happens on the 9th row? What pattern are you making?
