Working stiches from a stitch hoder

Your help greatly appreciated!

This is my first ‘real’ project and I’m working on a ruana - I’ve done the back, got to the shoulder where it splits to go down the front. There, I left roughly half of them on a stitch holder and kept going down one side of the front. Now I’m ready to go back to the stitches on the holder where I need to cast some off and keep working the rest to make the other front side. How do I get working yarn attached to those stitches on the holder?

You just start working the stitches with a new end of yarn leaving a tail to work in later. It may seem loose at first, but when you work in the tail you can fix any issues or holes.
