Hello everyone
I’m new to the forum. I have been knitting for a long time, well not that long I’m 25. I keep putting it away for lack of motivation. I don’t know anyone who knits.
Right now im working on the second hooded scarf ostrich plume patter from 60 more quick knits book.
And my first shrug is same stitch that i am combining a few patterns togather.
I would love to see if anyone has made or currently working on a lacy shrug or a hooded scarf.
I have recently finished a lacy cowl that can also be worn as a hood. It hasn’t been blocked yet; we’ve been having our house painted, :gah: what a horrid experience. I should be able to post a picture in the ‘What’cha Knittin’ section soon.
Have you joined ravelry.com yet? Membership is free, there are over 3 million members worldwide; members post photos of their ‘Finished Objects’ among other things.
What is the name of the shrug you are developing your pattern from? Besides helping people with their knitting problems, we also love to see what other people are knitting. Feel free to post photos of your WIP’s (work in progress) as well as any FO’s (finished objects).
The lace bolero is definitely eye-catching; I will attest it has caught my eye previously on numerous occasions The design is simple and clean and can be personalized in so many ways.
That’s beautiful.
I’m still working on hooded scarf.
But I have undid my shrug and started with an old pattern I had. See picture. I like how this looks much better.
Thank you ladies. Its actually my first two big projects. I have never made anything bigger than baby hats and mittens Since I have two extremely fast growing boys, I have a lot of hats and mittens. This winter I made them minion mittens, they loved them. I made a few in brown 100% wool, but they weren’t excited about those.
Thank you so much for support, I might actually finish winter gear before winter is out
