Wool Yarn & Felting

Hi,
I need some help-i want to make a felted purse and i saw some wool yarn i really like but it is not 100% it is 75 wool 25 nylon can this also be used and what is the least amount of wool mix that can be felted, any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks

I’m not sure what the answer is concerning that amount of nylon with the wool - but what I would do is knit up a swatch and try felting it to see if you get the desired result.

I’ve felted with 75% wool. But I would suggest doing a swatch and felting it just to see how it’s going to act. It’ll probably be fine.
