WOOHOO! My first knitting thing!

Thanks to Ingrid…lol I now have completed my first “thing”! It’s a 5x5 square, statred with a double cast on, knitted continental style, and bound! It’s completely off the needles and not falling apart! And it only has 3 holes! ROFL! And I can’t find the digital camera usb cable to share it!

:happydance: :happydance: :happydance:

Next, the purl!

good job…how would we make it w/o Ingrid??! (althogether now…) We love you Ingrid!

:happydance: YAY!!! :cheering:

:cheering: :cheering: :cheering:

Thanks so much ya’ll!

Ok, I dumped the purl learning part, and now have on the needles the beginnings of a head band… Am thinking to leave it open ended so I can tie it from underneath, with some tassels to hand from the bottom of my hair? Who knows! But I’m having fun, and there’s no holes in this one yet!

I’ve got to be the most impatient person ever!

Don’t give up on Sister Purl!! She’s just as important as Miss Knit!

Cristy--

Yah–Purl’s not so bad…she grows on ya!

Oh, I haven’t given up on it, just want to get something “real looking” made. If that makes any sense at all…

:??

It makes perfect sense. Garter knit scarves look good, too.

:happydance: :cheering: Congrats!!
