This is the Men’s Wrist Warmer from the book Last Minute Knitted Gifts.
1 down, 1 to go…I’m making the pair for a friend’s birthday next weekend.
The yarn is Plymouth Suri Merino - 55% Suri Alpaca and 45% extra fine Merino - heavenly soft! 
I tried the 2 circ method for the first time (thanks Hilde!!) and it made these go like a breeze!

I love the look of these. I just wish i could come up with an application for them. It gets too cold here to not have fingers covered. :pout:
Hey Sandra! I read in the pattern that in colder climates you could layer with these, you can put a “fingered” glove on underneath these if it’s close fitting, then slide these over for a little extra warmth.

I’ve been thinking of making a pair for myself to wear when I type (I work as a medical transcriptionist) in the winter. My house is 160 years old, and a tad bit drafty.

I have that book, and have been wanting to make those for my dd’s boyfriend. They live in Germany where it gets plenty cold. I’ve never tried the 2-circ method, but I’d love to learn it, as I really do get that second-sock (or wristwarmer) syndrome. :ick:
