Hi everyone,
Got this idea from http://explaiknit.typepad.com/let_me_explaiknit/socks/index.html
It’s really kinda fun and I get to experiment.
So far, I’ve done a short row heel and an eye-of-partridge heel. And plan to continue on with plain backs, but different “turnings” --I might use contrasting yarn on the turnings—just using left over sock yarn.
Hopefully you can see that you just flip the first heel up to get to the next; and so on, and so on…
And like the link said, I sorta have a reference tool. "Oh yes, I meant to make another heel."
That said, if I ever get to see Cat Bordhi’s lastest sock book, I might try a sampling of her gussets.

That’s a really great site, very informational, and what a great idea. Never too late to learn a bit more about our chosen obsession.
Thanks for the link, I am new to sock knitting so I need all the help I can get.
When ever I finish it, it’ll have multiple heels; I think I’ll make a small label with the heel types used and fasten it to an end.
:happydance: neat! Looks great ![]()
