WIP: Trio Tote Knit Bag... UPDATED WITH FO PICTURES!

For my second project I started a Trio Tote Knit Bag in Dec. 26th. This was my first project on circular needles, and the hoop was a bit big, so the bag looks… massive! I’ve just started the Decreasing, so it should be done by Saturday, I hope! The images aren’t that great, my good digital camera is out of batteries.

That pattern is so cute… I can’t wait to see it done! The yarn you chose is really pretty… what is it?

It looks fabulous. And ditto…What kind of yarn? It looks really plush, like chenille or something.

You are gonna be GLAD its massive once you become utterly addicted to knitting and have so much stash and so many projects that you dont know what to do wtih all of it!

GREAT job!

I’ve already given the depth a test run, and I think the yarn is still going to be spilling out!

The yarn is Chenille - It’s Lion Brand Chenille Thick and Quick. Colors are Marine and Kaleidoscope Print.

When you are at walmart and they don’t have anything but cotton or acrylic, you kinna go by what feels nice, and this felt really nice. It was going to be a scarf, but I think it looks better as a bag!

How cute–I can’t wait to see the finished pics…

That’s really pretty yarn. Like everyone else, I’m looking forward to the FO.

I finished my bag and it works perfect! I guess I followed the old Cherokee Proverb that says if something is perfect then only the evil spirits will want it to be equal to the Great Spirit, because it has many mistakes. But it is my second project, and my first major project, so I am very happy with it!

Looks great to me! Love the colors!

Nice! Looks like you’re putting it to good use

Lovely! :cheering: I’ve had this pattern bookmarked for months, but you’ve inspired me to get around to making one.

I made mine bigger and deeper to hold more stuff, I believe I added about 30 additional stitches to the bag… also It calls for a 26 circilar, and I only had a 29 - or something like that, it ended up huge! That worried me till I got addicted to yarn buying!

Looks brilliant Dannah!

 Well done!

:cheering: Great job and I love the colors… I wanna get some of that yarn but can’t figure out what I want to make out of it LOL… very pretty and it feels so soft…

I have several skeins in basil still, and I am thinking a throw for the living room. Since we do have animals, and that yarn is washable, I think it’d work well for that.

That came out soooo pretty.

I love the old Cherokee Proverb. Gotta remember that always.
