Only now I’ve done the heel, turn heel, heel gusset, and now I’m woeking on shaping the gusset! I’m so excited, I can’t wait to finish so I do the next one!
WIP~ still my sock!
After I did the heel in class last night, the LYS owner/class teacher was looking at it, and noticed that I had a dropped stitch near the very first row of the heel! So she frogged it for me and I started over again last night…only to mess up again soemtime today! So I frogged it this time and started over YET AGAIN! Got to the picking up stitches part, did the first set fine, but when it was time to pick up the next 19 I picked them up onto the wrong needle, but didn’t notice until I did about 3 more rows. SO, I frogged those and re-picked up the 2nd set of 19 stitches on the correct needle this time…and so far so good! The only thing is, my first knitted row with the picked-up stitched is really loose, but I’m not gonna worry about it really, this pair is for me, and they’ll be on my feet, not my head!

The good thing, though, is that you learned SO MUCH each time you made a mistake! I always learn more through mistakes than successes.

I think your sock looks great! As for the frogging - everyone does it. Really really! Also your loose stitches will “travel” a bit after the first wash or two. You may not even notice they were once loose once you wash your sock.
