This is a big deal to me so I’m showing off a little bit :teehee:
This will be my first adult sweater (for my honey!
) and I’m adapting it rather than doing it as written :shock:
Pattern is Durrow by Jodi Green. Yarn is knit picks Swish Superwash, color is Capri (dh picked the color himself, this will be a cycling sweater for him next winter, and he needs to be BRIGHT - I even plan to add some glow in the dark yarn when I’m done
)
I’m not very far yet, but I have managed to start the sleeves in the round (will be a saddle shoulder, so eventually I’ll have to knit the saddle part flat) AND both sleeves at the same time, on 2 circs! All of those are firsts for me and I’m so happy it’s working! There was one minor issue…I did a gauge swatch, started knitting the cuffs…and realized that by doing both sleeves at once, I changed my gauge to a little tighter, but dh has tried on just the cuffs, and they fit snug but not too snug, and I changed one needle size up and now am getting gauge again (this being my first BIG project, I’m a bit paranoid, and find I check gauge almost every inch
)
Without further ado…here they are:
