OK, after being long overdue: here is the finished item.
I tried taking a picture while wearing it, but I can’t take selfies 
. I do not have long enough arms to get the whole sweater vest on it :lol:
I’ve worn it a few times and I like it, but it is real loose and has a tendency to slide of my shoulders. And where the two front pieces come together it is a bit bulky…

I wonder if stabilizing the neck, across the back and maybe down the front part way, with a crochet hook and chain stitch would help it stay in place.
@Nana: No, I really don’t know. I see it quite often though, so I assume there is a name for it …
@GrumpyGramma: Thanks for the idea. I tried it, but it didn’t make much of a difference. Maybe after I wash it…
I don’t know how but I missed seeing this sweater all put together. Love it! It looks fabulous and it’s beautifully knit. Very well done.
