The hubster has a coworker who’s been asking for an Oklahoma University hat ever since I knit two other coworkers each a striped Texas Longhorns hat. I finally went this past Tuesday to get the right coloured yarn (I Love This Yarn, in Cranberry and in White on size 7 aluminum needles), and cast on earlier today. No pics, because I’m barely into the brim since I’m knitting at work. I’m following this pattern and trying to figure out how I’m going to modify it to add a front brim and buttons.
This holiday season I’ve done nothing but knit. The first is a hat I knit for my girl (also a Longhorns fan), but she wasn’t fond of it, so the hubster snagged it from her. The other is the hat I knit for his coworkers. I also have been requested to knit dog sweaters for a teacup chihuahua, as well as a hat/scarf/glove set for my supervisor’s daughter.
I’m going to end up with hooks for hands lol… :teehee:
