WIP My Wingspan

Thanks to immense help from Claire, here is my partially completed Wingspan.

Well, I can’t upload my picture. :??

From your computer? Resize the picture to appx 800x600 and try again. Click the paper clip and upload from your computer. That’s the easiest way.

I’ve never had a problem before, Jan. After I attach the pic, the page reloads and the pic is gone.

Testing… Okay that worked for me. I’m not sure what’s going on. Do you get an error code?

Will delete the pic after you reply.

When I click on the paper clip it opens a new window with the upload dialogue. I click the button, find my file and click upload. Never had a problem before but now when I return to the Reply page, the page refreshes and the attachment isn’t there. No error message.

Just tried again, same results.

Are you trying to edit and place it in the first post? If so try doing it in a reply. A lot of people have trouble editing and adding photos. If that doesn’t work I’ll alert Sheldon.

I can’t do either. Thanks, Jan.

Hi,

I am not sure what may be causing the issue. It doesn’t sound like you are getting an error message such as the image is too large. But you may want to double check that the image is size to 800x600 (or smaller) and has a file size no larger than 293KB. Typically, photos right off of a camera or phone will be larger than this and require a quick edit to get them the right size.

Another possibility is the image is being uploaded, but not inserted into the page. When you return to the reply form, check to see if the image appears under the paperclip icon in the toolbar. You can select the image and have it inserted into your post. It will show as some code and not as the image. Once your post is submitted, it will show the image.

I hope this helps. We haven’t made any changes to the forum in a long while. If you continue to have trouble posting images, you can try another browser and see if it makes any difference.

Thank you,

Sheldon

Restarted my Kindle, resized the pic again and ta-da! Thanks Sheldon!

That’s looking great Janis! :cheering: :cheering: :cheering:

You must be so pleased. The Wingspan knits up pretty quickly in a worsted weight, I would imagine you are pretty close to being finished.

Beautiful. I’m glad we get to see it! Thanks for persevering.

Janis,

Your wingspan is turning out beautifully. I love the colors, just gorgeous and soft! :inlove:

Success! I love the scarf and I’m very happy you were able to post the photo. Really lovely work. Enjoy wearing it.

There it is! Nice!

Pretty!!

Very pretty Janis, lovely soft colours… so you’ve finished the socks already! I must have missed them!! :roflhard:

Lol. Yeah Brenda, they are invisible socks. Really hard to get a pic of them!
