WIP - Cotton Classic Toddler "Jumper"

The pattern calls this a jumper, but it’s really a dress; currently knitting this in my own self-imposed (late) Knitting Olympics. I gave myself 16 days to make this for my dd’s birthday (this coming Saturday). I have finally finished one side - I haven’t decided yet whether this will be the front or back since they are both knitted the same. I received this one page pattern from a great YS in northern Chi-town. After much frustration, I finally wrote it out row by frustrating row and ended up with a 4-page pattern I could actually understand

Once I have a picture of the FO on my precious little model, I will post it here and PM the pattern to anyone who wants it.

Here’s the current progress:

Once I finally understood how to finish the 1st side, I’m so much more confident about starting the next side, now it’s “just knitting”
I am also going to try converting this pattern so I can knit the size 5 in the round for my older daughter.

P.S. I may need some serious encouragement when it comes time to seam this :shifty:

We are GOOD at encouragement!

GREAT job! That is going to be an ADORABLE dress! and, I bet she’ll be able to wear it as a top as she grows…

Oh, that is soo cute!! I can’t wait to see it finished and modeled! :inlove:

Oh, it’s looking great!! I LOVE that color! I can’t wait to see it when it’s finished!!

That’s so adorable!

A jumper is a dress (unless you’re in Britain). A jumper is just usually one in which you wear something under it…turtleneck, blouse, etc.

It looks fabulous!

How cute! Can’t wait to see the FO!

Now that is my kind of recycling!! :cheering: Great suggestion!

Looks great! :cheering:

See, I learn something new EVERYtime I log in here  Thanks!

I really like this jumper, how hard was it? do you have the pattern
