OOOooooOOOOoooOOO pretty!!!

such beautiful colors!

So… how difficult is the booga bag?

Thanks!!!

To be honest, I haven’t knitting on this in a couple of months so I can’t tell you!..I’ve been working on both hats at once and haven’t had time to do much on those even…they are progressing along just fine now though…

Ooo Ooo :waving: Pick me!!! I can answer that! I’m on my 5th Booga-style bag. I say “Booga-style” because I’ve modified it using the Oregon Tote pattern. Basically, I’ve made it the same size as the Booga, used two strands of yarn instead of one, and then used three of the techniques from the Oregon Tote pattern to make it just a tad bit nicer. I can’t share the techniques, though, 'cause the Oregon Tote is not a free pattern.

However, the Booga itself, is really quite easy. I think the hardest part is picking up the stitches around the base after you knit it. After that, it’s just knit, knit, knit until it’s tall enough. I highly recommend using 2 strands of yarn to make it, though. One – especially one of Kureyon – is quite thin.

I love that yarn! I’ll have to check it out! Beautiful booga!

Ooops! I meant to comment on the yarn, too! That is a really pretty colorway. I took a look @ a picture of the whole color pattern, and it’s gorgeous … so many changes!

I like that Oregan tote!!! A tote was the next thing on my list to make after the hats are finished…then it was going to be back to the Booga…I might have to order that pattern!

Oh, yes, order the pattern!! It’s worth it. It was the first pattern I actually paid for.

:happydance: love the colors very nice
