WIP - Basketweave Cowl

Getting close to being complete, only one more 10 row repeat followed by four rows of seed stitch and it will be ready to block.

My Ravelry page with pattern info. I’m using Madelaine Tosh Merino DK in Glazed Pecan and it’s just knitting up beautifully. The recipient is my husband again, he of the Secret Santa scarf knitting fame, and he picked out this wool for himself. He seems to have very good, not to mention expensive taste!!

The cowl is just beautiful Brenda - and your DH chose a delicious yarn & color! :yay:

Lovely cowl. No wonder he’s willing to get you such lovely gifts. He knows when he’s got a good thing going. Smart man.

Beautifully knit. Basketweave is such a lovely pattern and it looks fabulous. Great color for these cold days, too. Warms you up just to see it!

It looks grand. I love the color and the basketweave. I am nuts about cowls at the moment I guess because they are fun to knit and fun to wear. You did a great job:)

Very nice looking, basketweave is such a nice stitch pattern, and the color is great. Your husband has very good taste.

I finished this last night, just need to weave in the ends and block it, he should be wearing it by the weekend. :woohoo:

Oooo la la! Isn’t that Madeline Tosh “glazed pecan” colorway magnificent! I’m really becoming a great fan of the MadTosh yarns. I especially love the way the variations distribute!

Your cowl is wonderful!

Yes it is, it’s truly scrumptious! Must get some for myself now!
