Hi I know how to increase and slip a stitch and passone over, but I only end up with two stichs to knit and not three?? it says Inc in first st, sl 1 K1 PSSO, turn P3 but I only have two, does it mean I have to knit a stich on the other needle?
Why do I only end up with two stichs
By reading just what you have written, it looks to me like you begin with 3 sts. You then increase in the first st, so you have 2 sts on your left needle, and 2 on your right. You then work your decrease with the next 2 sts, which puts a 3rd st on your right needle. You SHOULD have 3 when you turn to purl. Maybe if you write more of the pattern, or give us a link if it’s online?
“Inc in first st, sl 1 K1 PSSO, turn P3”
Knit in the front and back of the first st, that’s 2, then slip the next one, k the one after and pass the slip st over that one. That’s 3 sts. Turn and purl those 3.
