Oh! that is so sweet, last time I knitted a baby cardigan was for my best friend’s little girl she is now 22yrs old.
The pattern, is it complicated? What is the stitch used?

It’s a two row moss stitch, so not at all complicated. Just got the neck band to do, then get some funky buttons!
That is a lovely stitch,and made more adorable on a babies knitwear. Ah!! buttons, I always have trouble matching buttons to anything. Now I take my projects to the little sewing shop in the town and let them choose my buttons. I find if I chose the wrong buttons it would ruin my hard work.
Do you have any pets? I had five dogs but they all died of old age. They would came to work with me every day my job was the best I use to care and train guard dogs.
I have a cat who adopted us as she was a stray, vet put her at the age of 6 she is nearly 15 now.
I have no children so all the animals were a replacement, I suppose.

No pets (unless you count the bees!) We’ve always been cat people but don’t currently have any feline friends of our own.
I finished a baby sweater and it’s waiting for its buttons. I realized finally that I haven’t put them on because I don’t like the ones I have for it and I don’t want to spend a bunch of money on something I’m just giving away to someone I don’t personally know. I think I’ll try crocheting some. I’ve seen tutorials for it and it might be just what the doctor ordered.
