First of all, the beginning of last night’s show was so hokey! I mean, come on people! I come from a small town, and we do hokey to the extreme…but not on national television.
That said, David Archuletta was amazing. Wonder if it will be an upset?
I think Cook should win, but if Archuletta wins, no big deal. I think Cook is ready to make an album and be on his own so maybe it would be better for him to not win so he won’t be tied into a contract with AI. However, I do think he’s the better of the two.
I think Archuletta is a fantastic singer, but he just sings. There’s no performance, and I find him really boring to watch. And I’m so sick of his humble reactions to praise. Enough already. :ick:
They’re both good singers, so it could go either way. David Cook did great the last couple of weeks, but then David A really stepped up last night, and did awsome. Either one could win.
I do wonder, however, if it all might be a little too overwhelming for David A. He’s still so very young. David Cook is more mature, and probably better able to handle the demands. I just don’t know.
I’m rooting for David Cook. He’s simply more marketable as a performer. I see David A. as simply a great singer, but don’t think he can pull of a real career unless he were to join a “boy band”. David Cook is the wise choice to me, but I really can’t say. However, I will be watching!
I wanted David A. to win. The kid with the big voice. Maybe it’s best he didn’t win. I would hate to see him ruined by Hollywood, you know? I was impressed with David Cook and ZZ Top.
I think David A needs some more experience before he’s ready for a career. He seems so young and naive on stage. And he really needs to spread his wings and get away from his father. Did you know his father is a demanding stage dad? He was eventually banned from AI rehearsals and from going backstage.
Yeah, he will probably break away one day. I just hope he doesn’t go wild when he does get away from his dad. I heard his dad changed some words to a song that David sang and cost the network a lot of money and that’s why he was banned.
