I’m thinking (and JUST thinking at this point) about knitting or crocheting a bathrobe for DD. A few of the patterns I’ve seen use either acrylic yarn, or acrylic/wool blend. I can get some acrylic yarn at a good price, for the amount I’ll need, but was wondering if perhaps cotton would be better.
Any suggestions or ideas?
All cotton can be quite heavy, so you might want to look at a cotton blend.
I think it depends on what it’ll be used for. If it’s for warmth then an acrylic/wool or washable wool would work. If it’s just for stepping out of the tub after a bath or out of the pool then a cotton blend would be good.
I would think cotton for a bathrobe. I would absorb the water nicely. But I agree with the PP, depends what its going to be used for!
