Which would you choose?

I’m currently knitting a hat for myself and I want to put a design right above the (rolled) brim. I have two ideas, but I’m not sure which I prefer. My husband thinks I should do the bottom one. What do you guys think? I need help deciding! :x:

Edit: For some reason the colors are overly saturated, but they’re fairly close.

I think you’re good to go with either one…maybe you should boost yer hubby’s ego by agreeing!!

I voted for the top…I think because, of course, knitted hats make me think winter and the top kind of reminds me of snowflakes.

how about a 2 color cast on?
tie together the 2 colors (into a slip knot, but DON’T COUNT IT)
put the double slip onto a needle and CC 1 color for thumb, MC for index.
work a standard Long Tail.
(at the end of cast on, cut CC color, and continue in MC.)

(if you are going to make a 2 color rib, don’t bother to Cut CC)
