Hello Hello…long time no need help!! I am finally finished with my first sweater!!! Now I need to stitch it together, how do I do that?? Which stitch do I use??? Kitchener, matteress or both in different places?? Inquiring minds need to know!! 
Kitchener is for grafting live stitches together. You shouldn’t need that on a sweater.
If the shoulder stitches are still on the needles–use a three-needle bind off.
Otherwise, use Mattress Stitch for the whole sweater–it’s the greatest!
