Which inc video does this pattern talk about?

Hi all.

Finally!! I’m to the point in my sweater where I’m doing the sleeves.
Pattern says:

inc 1 st each end of needle on next and every following alt row to 43sts, then every following 4th row to 61 sts.

So does that mean that I’ll increase at the first and last stitch of the first row and inc one st every other row? Or do I just inc 1 on this first row, then 1 inc every other row? And then every 4th row…

Also, I’m not sure which video for increasing I should watch. The stitch glossary for this pattern has confused me. For Inc it says : Increase 1 stitch by knitting into front and back of next stitch. That doesn’t look/sound like any of the videos. Or I’m just not sure how you do it. Any way, thank you to all who can (once again) help out this beginner knitter.

The Bar Increase here is same as k f&b inc.

Sleeve increases are most usually worked on the 2nd or 3rd stitch in from the edge.

Here is the video for kfb–knit into the front and back of the stitch.

You’ll be increasing in the first and last stitch in the next row and every other row after that. This is usually done on every knit row, and that will help you keep track. When you get to 43 stitches, increase in every other knit row–that will be every 4th row.

Thank you Ingrid and Jints! I don’t know what I would do without this website and all you VERY helpful folks. I know! I’d still be knitting scarves.

Thanks again!! :cheering:
