When working side incs on cardi, top down, where there’s no side seam, should my INCREASES angle
TOP
\ /

BOTTOM (if there were a seam these would essentially follow the angle of the edge)
or
TOP

BOTTOM (these basically follow the line of the garment as it widens)
Best to leave a couple sts in between the incs?

I would think the second option would be right.

I’m not sure. I think I have seen it done with one stitch between the increases, so it would be, /l. Or just right next to each other with no stitch between. /\
Thanks, Merigold. I was leaning toward the second because it seems visually right but it feels counter-intuitive to how they’d appear if done bottom up. I may test out the one/none st between to see which looks better altho the difference would be minimal.
