I’m craving a silk sort of “thick and thin” look yarn … in beautiful hand-dyed colors. 
(or undyed? I guess) Anyone making this? I’d make it myself but I don’t know how to spin!

Lorna’s Laces has a thick and thin wool that is very soft and the colors are beautiful.

Hmmm. I’ll look there. The closest I found was on Etsy but it’s undyed so I’ll have to figure out? (kool aid??? ) how to dye it!
FYI: I’ve heard it’s harder to hand dye silk because it take s a LOT more time and patience because the dye doesn’t soak into the fibers as well.
