Where to bind off?

wise knitters,

i just finished my second (hooray!) irish hiking scarf. the pattern has repeats that consist of eight rows each. the end of the pattern says, “end on row 7, then bo”.

so…do i finish row six and then bind off or do i finish row 7 and then bind off?

i’ve no idea why this didn’t bother me on the first scarf…maybe i just guessed where to bind off…

any thoughts would be mightily appreciated.

Complete your work on row 7 and then bind off. That way your pattern repeat should be finished and then you’ll have a clean working bind off.
