My sleeve pattern calls for 8 rows of st st and then increases every following 8 rows. I thought I would add some rows before the increases start so the sleeves will be longer than they look in the picture. Is there any reason why this wouldn’t work?
Depends on the size of your lower arm and how many rows you want to add. Look at the pattern and see if there’s a point after the incs where it says to knit for Xmany inches. You could add the extra rows there, or split up and put half of them before the incs and half after.
