Ok should i be starting the toe part now???
When to start my toe part of the sock?
Measure the bottom of your foot, from heel to toe. Then measure your sock from heel to needles. Start the toes when the sock is 2 inches shorter than the length of your foot. 
Yep, that’s exactly what I did and it came out perfectly! 
By the looks of your picture, I’d say you have a few rounds to go yet before you start the toe, but do measure and see what you come up with!
It’s TRICKY isn’t it!? I’m on my 2nd pair, the first came out so big they’re too big for my hubhub. (dh) But he loves them anyway… I’m going to felt them down a little.
Some sock patterns, like in the sock book I have actually state how long the toe part will be. One of mine says 'will add 1 3/4 inches". I like that.
I’ll be glad when I’ve made several pair so I can begin to do exactly what my foot is. Custom - made - socks!

lol thank you for the cute little chubby toe comment lol i hate my toes they are so ugly lol but my little tow is so cute…not everyone gets to see my feet so enjoy hee hee hee. Thank you for the advice i am going to do work on my sock lol. :cheering:
