Welcome to fall or sweater weather as we knitters and crocheters call it!
At least for some of us that’s true and for others, it’s time to knit for the future cooler weather.
What’s on your needles or hooks? And what plans do you have for future projects? Any holiday knitting in the works?
Wow. Very nice. Beautifully done.
Thank you.
I finished knitting this guy last month, but I wanted to add a cutie mark kind of thing on the grey half of his hind quarters. I’m using some glow in the dark fabric, which I’m still waiting for, and felt with a little thread embroidered detailing.
I was recently, confidentially told by a 6 year old that “You know, unicorns don’t exist.” So disillusioning. Now I can tell her that I’ve seen an excellent unicorn in the wild.
Well done!
Haha, thanks!
Beautiful, as always!
Amazing shaping.
Started Stephen West’s “Resplendence” Shawl with the leftovers from the Wonky Starfish, plus some Suri laceweight. Random color distribution tied together with the purples that didn’t get used before.
Ooooh, lovely!
You have a real eye for color. That’s a combination I’d never have thought of. They work so well together.
This is a surprise ornament for my sister, that I had to make sure was ready to give to her for next weekend because that’s when I see her next. Our dad did beekeeping when he lived in Canada and he passed in June so I thought this would be a fun surprise.
Never actually really done any kind of stuffed creature or one where I have to add extra bits to it as I go though so….
Cute bee. You’re sister will love it!
LOL! I do have pretty good color sense, although since this is using up bits from the Wonky Starfish, most of the colors are pre-determined by the Scheepjes Whirls that I used for that. I found a bead-sorting box that the little balls fit into nicely, put the purples in place following the gradient, and dumped the rest in to fall where they may. And then I did a certain amount of shuffling so as not to have two similar ones together. Now all I have to do is work across the rows!
Very clever use of that bead box1
What great organisation and planning! Love it!
When I reworked yarn fom a frogged sweater I divided it up into ugly plastic bags for font, back and sleeves to get a distribution of colours. I was pretty pleased with my planning but you’ve certainly trumped me!
I am knitting my daughter a sweater out of Knit Picks Brave Cestial color an Soltice Heather color for ribbing
I can’t believe it took me so long to recognize your clever pi on your pumpkin! Love it!
