Thanks! I’ll put his shorts on for the next photo! :flushed: lol! I’ve also done his lower lips and one leg, now about to make a boot

I don’t think it looks jarring as it is, I love it. Also love it as a tank top without the sleeves.

Hi, sorry I ve been so busy with shoes. Wait for my photo towards the end of the month. I mainly use woolcraft new fashion 100g balls because it washes nice, keeps shape well and is a nice smooth knit. I have found cheapest place eBay. Because I do most knitting for charity I have to keep the wool costs down as much as possible. From one ball I can get almost 6 pairs of shoes. The unicorn pj bags 2 x 100g chunky or a thick Aran. Usually any trims are from bits and pieces that have been leftover or scrounged.

Thank you for the compliment.

I did not know 1.25 needles existed. I ve been using bamboo skewers when I needed less than 2mm to get down really small.

I have a sock on needles, a ‘new to me’ construction which piqued my interest. It starts with the heel, then sole and then toe box. Next is the entrelac instep which may be my undoing (going by past experience !!)
Wish me luck

Oh very good luck with these socks. That is unusual construction but maybe it makes it easier to replace the sole if needed? Love the colors which will look so nice in entrelac.

Good luck, they do look interesting! I haven’t knitted socks in ages, feel tempted to start a pair now lol

Wow its a really low price! And sooooooo many colours too!

Thank you, foundation and 1st rows completed (phew!)
I also thought that about the sole but no such luck, you incorporate the sole by picking up a stitch each side as you work a row.
I wondered what the colours would do in the entrelac and it is turning out quite pretty so far.

Thank you, so far so good

I made gloves. Finally figured it out! Yeah! Cheater fair isle yarn from Hobby Lobby (I love This Yarn acrylic Jazz Stripe my favorite). But when I shovel snow, the gloves get wet and my hands are freezing. Temps have been -20 in Wisconsin. Time to knit a 100% wool pair. Wool stays warm even when wet. Thermal stitch like in long Johns.

Those look warm and cheery for those cold Wisconsin winters. Nicely knit!
